New Moon Disclaimer:  anything regarding new moons should be read as NEW MONTHS because that is what they are.  "New moons" implies that we go by the lunar calendar, which I did for 10 years; however, after the Creator intervened I now understand the 364 day solar calendar to be of Yah as prescribed in the book of Enoch.  Using the Lunar Calendar is forbidden in the book of Jubiless, it is implied in Enoch, and the Essene scrolls found in the Qumran caves at the dead sea confirm the use of the solar calendar not a lunar calendar.  The going out and coming in of the moon is 10 days off per solar year, Jubilees prophesied that they would go astray in the last days using the moon and throwing off the order of the Appointed Times of Yah. Jubilees 6:36-38 “For there will be those who will assuredly make observations of the moon- now it disturbeth the seasons and cometh in from year to year ten days too soon.  For this reason the years will come upon them when they will disturb the order, and make an abominable day the day of testimony, and an unclean day a feast day, and they will confound all the days, the holy with the unclean, and the unclean day with the holy; for they will go wrong as to the months and sabbaths and feasts and jubilees.  For this reason I command and testify to thee that thou mayest testify to them; for after thy death thy children will disturb them, so that they will not make the year 364 days only, and for this reason they will go wrong as to the new months and seasons and sabbaths and festivals…”

In Hebrew the word for moon is 3394 yareach.  In Hebrew the word for month is 2320 chodesh.  No where in Scripture does it ever say "New Moon", it only says "New Month"!  So the witness that scripture gives is that we have new months, there is no such thing as a new moon in Scripture.  Colossians 2:16 uses new moon, but if you research it you will see it’s 3561 a combination of 3501(new) and 3376(month).  I Samuel 20:5,18,24; II Kings 4:23; Psalm 81:3; Isaiah 66:23; Ezekiel 46:1,6; Amos 8:5.  All these verses use new moon; however if you look up the word it’s not yareach (moon); it’s actually chodesh (month).

In these PDFs you will find teachings and information on the Feasts of Yahuah.  This is the very door the Father used in my life to begin my journey of learning that the Law of Yah was not done away with.  The Father prodded me to study the feast of the Jews that I came across one day in my strongs concordance.  As I opened up the Scriptures to Leviticus 23 I came to the realization that these were not Jewish feasts, but rather they were the Feasts of the Yahuah.  I also realized they were permanent statutes or commandments forever as in says in Leviticus 23.  Therefore, I began to keep them, although I must admit that I glossed right over the Sabbath as though it wasn't even there!  It took me some time and help before I realized I was missing the most frequent Feast of Yah.  All I can do is thank Him for His grace!  We (my wife and kids) began to keep the Feasts immediately and first up on the calendar was Purim (not a moedim); but that is where this journey began!  I hope this is helpful and insightful for all.  Included in this PDF is Sabbath, New Moon, Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Shavuot, Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles, Hanukkah, and Purim.
